Agency Needs
Your contribution will help us to ensure that we are able to continue our tradition of excellence and that anyone needing hospice care, regardless of ability to pay, will receive quality end of life care. While monetary gifts are the simplest and often most popular form of giving, you may wish to consider the following options:
Medical Equipment
Many kind and well-intentioned people contact us to see if they can donate used medical equipment, such as bed-side commodes, shower chairs, wheelchairs, or opened but unused briefs and mattress underpads. Regrettably, due to state health and government regulations, we cannot accept and distribute used equipment or packages that have been opened.
We can, however, accept new and gently used canes, walkers, unopened packages of adult briefs and underpads, and colostomy/ureterostomy supplies as well as nutritional meal-replacement drinks such as “Ensure” to distribute to those demonstrating financial need.
Office Supplies
Supplies that are appreciated are plain and colored copy paper, postage stamps, manilla folders, plain business envelopes, post-it notes, photo paper, and hanging folders (for file cabinets).
Craft Supplies
Our Children’s Saturday workshops and our annual Camp Happy Hearts can always use crafting supplies such as construction paper, glue, crayons, markers, stickers, beads, scrapbooking materials, etc.
