Camp Happy Hearts Spring 2009

Blessed with a beautiful Spring day, dozens of children attended Mercy’s Spring Session of Camp Happy Hearts . Children enjoyed the magic of Slightly the Clown, horse rides, creating memory boxes, participating in “Bubbles to Heaven”, as well as a candlelight memorial service to remember their loved ones in a very special way.

Camp Happy Hearts is a bi-annual camp that seeks to encourage each child to move forward while dealing with the present loss. The camp provides a safe, listening environment and helps create clear memories through hands-on activities and discussion.

Mercy Hospice, a non-profit organization, depends upon fundraisers and the kindness of our supporters to bring these and other programs to the children and teens in our community.
