Mardi Gras Benefit 2007
Feb 20, 2007It was a bit of Bourbon Street at Broadway at the Beach this February 20th as over 150 supporters of MERCY Hospice & Palliative Care tripped the light fantastic at its annual Mardi Gras fundraising celebration.
Whether dancing, nibbling hors d’oeuvres, or quietly taking in each other’s company, the fellowship was as dazzling as the swirling lights that bathed every nook and cranny of Revolutions inside Broadway at the Beach.
For Phil Conklin (of Murrells Inlet) and another Myrtle Beach resident, the good times rolled money as they split the grand prize of $5,000. The entire community won as the funds raised will allow MERCY to continue to provide its educational, bereavement, and end-of-life services to families of Horry, Georgetown, and Marion Counties.
